Since our inception, the vision for Neri Karra has been framed around our social contribution. Care and respect for our employees, our community, and our customers, are at the heart of our business - after all, we know that they are crucial to our survival and prosperity.

OUR TEAM
We know that our team is our greatest asset. We employ skilful craftspeople who make all
of our products by hand with the utmost care and attention to detail. We know that we must
look after our greatest asset; this is why our staff receive competitive salaries above that of the living wage, benefits, and training, and why we partner with educational institutions for the betterment of each employee. Our own code of
conduct, communicated with each team member, covers labour and human rights and ensures the fair and equal treatment of, not only, our employees but also those in our supply chain. We hold an extensive diversity, equality and inclusion policy, and we are members of the Diversity Charter Bulgaria. 70% of our senior management are women and 100% of of our leadership team are from ethnic minorities.
We are commited to the welfare of our team, ensuring that our sites are safe and free from
harmful chemicals, and providing training on; health and safety in the workplace, as well as mental health topics and awareness. The well-being of our employees is of paramount importance to us and we strive for a workplace where our employees feel safe, valued, respected and heard. Many of our artisans who started with us at our inception 20 years ago remain with us today as part of the Neri Karra family – this is truly our proudest claim.

CHARITY AND COMMUNITY
As a young girl, a refugee, who once stood at the Turkish border with uncertainty for the future, Neri knows first-hand the transformative power of a good education. Education expanded Neri’s world, and receiving a scholarship to university was the key needed to unlock her potential. This is why the education of children and refugees are causes close to Neri’s heart, and why we support Save the Children and UNHCR, donating 10% of our profits each year, so that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have a chance to realise their potential.
We also believe in being active members of our community. We work with local businesses and
government to focus on the growth of; education, culture, job creation, and skill development in our community. We have also built and made donations for the development of schools and cultural initiatives in Bulgaria – giving back to the community of which we are a part.

PRICE TRANSPARENCY
We use the highest quality Italian leather, sourcing our materials from the same suppliers as many of the world’s leading luxury brands, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. We believe in investing in our staff, in our tools and workshops, and not compromising on the quality and care you should expect from a high-end brand.
Our pricing reflects these standards and nothing more. We sell beautiful, classic pieces that are to be cherished for decades to come and as such offer true value. This is why we provide full transparency of our prices and markups – we have nothing to hide.
CERTIFICATION
We feel that it is important to give our customers the reassurance that we are a socially responsible business, this is why we have certification as both a B Corporation and a Positive Luxury brand. These accreditations assess our environmental and social sustainability practices and require thorough documentation and proof that the claims we make are accurate and honest. We are incredibly proud of our achievements in obtaining these certifications, they are not, however, an end goal, but represent a commitment we have made to ethical practices and an accountability to ensure that we stay focused in that commitment.
As part of our pledge to do better, we are also signatories of the UN Global Compact and a member of Fashion for Good - a global initiative to inspire change and make fashion a force for good.
